Mohana Fares

Vice Director General, Director of the Administration of Technological, Ministery of Education, Israel

Mohana Fares serves as Vice President and Director of Technological Education Administration in the Ministry of Education.

Between the years 2015 – 2021, he served as director of the national programs department and led programs to promote excellence in the periphery, a national program for English, and the largest program among them - "5 times 2".

Between the years 2009 -2014, he served as the national commissioner for Druze and Circassian education. Before that, he served as a supervisor of Druze education in the northern district of the Ministry of Education.

In 2003, he graduated from the Mendel Institute for Leadership, and between the years 2003 - 2007 he served as the person responsible for the implementation of the Shoshani report for differential budgeting and as the supervisor for teacher salaries in the Administration of Economics and Budgets at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Jerusalem.

Mohanna founded and managed the High School of Science in Arka, and also founded and managed the community school in Horfish.

Before the mentioned, he was a mathematics and computer science teacher in several high schools in the Galilee.
